Pelophylax esculentus est rana edibilis, kleptospecies amphibiorum in Europa Media endemica. Haec species, antea Rana esculenta appellata, est hybrida cuius parentes P. lessonae et P. ridibundus sunt.[1] Haec species et Rana clamitans nomen ranam viridem vulgo habent.
