Philopator II fuit rex Cilicius, qui anno 17 obiit.[1] Rege mortuo regnoque agitato, Tiberius imperator Romanus heredem Germanicum ad provincias orientales commisit ut tumultus opprimeret.[1] Origo Philopatoris incertus est. Fuit fortasse aut nepos aut aliter cognatus Philopatori I qui in Cilicia tempore M. Antonii regnaverat.
