Mead natus est Brattleburgi Montis Viridis. Consobrinus fuit Praesidis Rutherford B. Hayes; ergo suum nomen medium. Alienora soror Gulielmo Dean Howells, scriptori mythistoriarum nupsit, et Larkin Goldsmith Mead, frater minor natu, gloriam sculptoris habuit.[1]
