Lingua Tsalagi (in Tsalagi ᏣᎳᎩ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ, Tsalagi Gawonihisdi; Anglice Cherokee language; Latinitate dare fortasse "lingua Zalagica") est sermo populi Tsalagi locutus, et inest prima turma linguae Iroquoianae. Lingua Tsalagi est sola lingua Iroquoiana meridionalis quae etiamnunc locuta est.[1] De scriptione lingua Tsalagi systema scriptionis syllabarum adhibet, a Sequoyah (natus circa 1770; mortuus mense Augusto 1843) inventum, sive Anglice appellatus Georgius Gist sive Georgius Guess.
